Application
Parents with Singapore Citizenship (SC) may submit the SC application for their children (including overseas-born minors) online via ICA’s eServices using a Singpass account. Refer to ICA’s website here for details on eligibility, documents required, payment and processing time for SC applications.
For non-English language documents issued in Taiwan, please note that all hospitals and household registration offices can issue the same documents in English.
Parents may opt to collect the SC certification at the Singapore Trade Office. The office will contact you once the document is ready for collection. The parent or spouse will be required to present his/her passport and the child’s birth certificate.
Confirmation
With effect from 11 March 2024, all confirmation of Singapore Citizenship applications are to be made at the ICA building or via an online application form: https://go.gov.sg/confirmationofsc. The form will take about 5 mins to complete.
