Singapore and the Separate Customs Territory of Taiwan, Penghu, Kinmen and Matsu (Chinese Taipei), both members of the World Trade Organisation (WTO), have completed the first review for the “Agreement between Singapore and the Separate Customs Territory of Taiwan, Penghu, Kinmen and Matsu on Economic Partnership” (ASTEP) on 13 April 2015. The review focused on implementation issues of the Agreement, which was signed on 7 November 2013 and entered into force on 19 April 2014.
